Glass-staining magenta. Highly expressive, spice- and smoke-accented black and blue fruits, pungent flowers and olive on the nose, along with a licorice nuance that builds as the wine opens up. Offers deeply concentrated cassis, blueberry, violet pastille and exotic spice flavors show superb energy thanks to a core of smoky minerality. Finishes spicy, focused and impressively long, with steadily building tannins and reverberating floral and blue fruit notes. 50% whole clusters and all used oak.
