The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Trilogie, which comes from the usual three climats (see previous vintage notes). It has a joyful nose with raspberry coulis , fig and Morello cherries. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, good density, a bit broad-shouldered but there is fine delineation on the finish. Give it a year in bottle.

The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Trilogie is terrific, offering up aromas of plums, vine smoke, sweet berries and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and concentrated, with a layered core of fruit, lively acids and powdery tannins, it's the highlight of Lignier's communal appellation bottlings.
