Medium- to full-bodied, it’s dense and enveloping, with a velvety texture that belies its depth. Layered and structured, it’s supported by fine tannins and delivers good length on the finish. This is a Crozes-Hermitage that will benefit from further cellaring.

More forward and charming than Emmanuel's Au Fil Du Temps cuvée, the 2023 Crozes-Hermitage Les Trois Chênes offers red and black fruits, leather, peppery herbs, and floral and spicy notes on the nose. It's medium-bodied and shows nicely integrated oak, with building tannins and good overall balance. Give it a year or three of bottle age, and it should drink well over the following decade. Drink 2027-2039.
