Tasting notes
Score 16.5/20 · Drink 2025-2035, Matthew Hayes, jancisrobinson.com, Dec 2024

The final year of this wine. Cask sample. Two barrels tasted, the first quite funky with mousiness on the finish – a passing phase, Nielsen notes. Sample from the second barrel: pale gold. Clean apple and pear nose; fully mature fruit. Quite feisty, zesty acidity and lots to chew on from a little extended skin contact. (MH)
