Score 88+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

Moderately saturated medium red. Aromas of red cherry, flowers and resiny oak; combines a roasted hint with a cool minty aspect. Understated and rather complex in the mouth, with flavors of flowers, berries and mint enlivened by bright acidity. Slow-mounting, subtle finish features slightly drying tannins.

Henri Rebourseau

Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, this domaine has a long history and impressive vineyards (with over five hectares of Grand Cru), but has long been considered an under-performer. Today, however, the Bouygues brothers (of Montrose and Clos Rougeard) have taken ownership and change is afoot.
