The 2020 Saint-Joseph Blanc is delicious. Honeysuckle, white peach, pear, yellow apple and traces of apricot are all nicely delineated. Elegant and refreshing, the 2020 is an inviting Saint-Joseph Blanc that can be consumed without further cellaring.

A step up over the Crozes Hermitage, the 2020 Saint Joseph Blanc has beautifully integrated oak as well as notes of white peach, honeyed apple, honeysuckle, and brioche. More medium-bodied on the palate, it has that classic Saint-Joseph focus and minerality and will drink brilliantly for 7-8 years, although there's no need to delay gratification.

A prebottling sample assembled from barrel and tank, the 2020 Saint-Joseph Blanc is a strong effort. Scents of petrichor, beeswax, pear, melon and citrus all combine on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is lush yet fine, leading into a long, silky-textured finish.
