The 2017 Chablis is soft, pretty and understated, with lovely floral and citrus character. Open-knit and quite expressive, Moreau's village-level Chablis will drink well right out of the gate.

The 2017 Chablis Villages confirms its creditable showing last year, revealing a pretty bouquet of green apple, lemon oil, crisp peach, fresh pastry and oatmeal. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, satiny and elegant, with succulent acids and an open, charming profile, concluding with a saline finish.

There’s a beautiful array of spice and flint here with lemons and limes. The palate has a sleek, fine and assertively structured feel. Lemon drive. Taut. Drink or hold.

The 2017 Chablis has a fresh, rather austere and malic bouquet with Granny Smith apple and light nettle aromas. The palate is fresh on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, nicely balanced with a poised and quite saline finish.
