Tasting notes
Score 84/100 · Robert Parker, Jan 1997

Somewhat of a disappointment given the vintage, Jasmin's 1989 reveals a medium ruby color, an attractive nose of cherry and raspberry fruit, with some herbaceousness in the background. On the palate, the wine is slightly hollow, with surprising acidity, and astringent tannin in the finish. It is not one of the successes of the vintage. Drink it up. Last tasted 7/96.
