The 2015 Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru Clos Baulet comes from a tiny premier cru of only 0.66 hectares. It has a pleasant bouquet of redcurrant and cranberry notes, although I would like to find more mineralité and energy to come through once in bottle. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly tough tannin on the entry, although there is a decent amount of fruit stacked behind it. (NM)

It has a pleasant bouquet of redcurrant and cranberry notes, although I would like to find more mineralité and energy to come through once in bottle. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly tough tannin on the entry, although there is a decent amount of fruit stacked behind it. Hopefully it will gain a little more flesh to counterbalance the structure by the time of bottling.
