This displays light to moderate wood influence that allows the floral, yellow fruit, white peach and apricot suffused nose free reign. The textured, intense and mouth coating medium-bodied flavors offer impressive depth, plenty of minerality and outstanding intensity on the long, focused and palate staining finish where a touch of austerity appears. A very fine Les Clos that delivers serious length.

Pale, bright yellow. Reticent nose hints at wet stone and mint. Big, rich and dry; fatter and riper than the Blanchots, offering impressive volume but less mineral grip and Chablis cut today (this struck me as more Cote d'Or-like). Boasts deep stone fruit flavors but this slightly aggressive wine will need time to absorb some of its baby fat. 91+ (ST)

Domaine Long-Depaquit is one of the largest in Chablis, with 62 hectares under vine. It is owned by the Beaune-based négociant Albert Bichot who has managed the property since 1967
