This was served too cold to be able to detect much flavour detail, but the taut acidity and mountain of minerality are impressive, nonetheless. There's a quiet richness supporting those elements, like cold, fresh butter. This just needs time in the glass to warm up, or, better yet, some time in the cellar before a decant. (TQT)

The 2022 Chablis Montmain 1er Cru has a crisp, stony, almost austere bouquet that delivers more fruit with aeration. It is very composed and focused. The palate is well balanced with a crisp line of acidity and just a slight reduction, but there is plenty of depth toward the finish. Good potential. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
