Good bright, medium red. Aromas of raspberry, cola, underbrush and fresh and roasted herbs; hints at a liqueur-like ripeness. Sweet, sappy and fresh, with almost Chambolle-like red fruit and menthol flavors. A firm, persistent, nicely delineated wine with very good thrust and grip.

(the crop level was just 28 hectoliters per hectare, according to Lignier, who carried out a particularly severe green harvest in these vines) Deep red. Smoky, slightly roasted aromas of redcurrant, leather, mocha and game. Big, sweet and rich, with sauvage suggestions of game, leather and underbrush; very expressive, and very Morey-Saint-Denis. But here the tannins are sweet, and the flavors show sneaky persistence.
