Deep ruby. Ripe dark fruits, licorice and a hint of game on the deeply perfumed nose. Lush, broad and warm, offering intense black and blue fruit flavors that are given a spicy edge by a hint of cracked pepper. Weighty, in the style of the year, displaying strong closing thrust and pliant tannins that shape the lingering dark berry compote qualities.

Leading off the 2015 reds, notes of saddle leather, black raspberries, toasted spice and licorice emerge from Nodin's 2015 Cornas les Eygats. Medium to full-bodied, with wonderful purity of fruit and sweet tannin, it's a rock-solid Cornas to enjoy over the coming 10-15 years.
