Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering sweet dark berry and fruitcake flavors that are sharpened by a suggestion of cracked pepper. Shows fine definition and mineral cut on the long, pliant finish, which is framed by round, well-judged tannins.

Bright and energetic on the nose, displaying an array of fresh black and blue fruit and floral qualities and a building mineral element. Shows very good depth and focus on the palate, offering juicy boysenberry and cassis flavors that take a spicy turn on the back half. Finishes long, smooth and floral, with even tannins coming in late.
