Good medium red. Distinctive, rather dark nose offers blueberry, licorice, nutmeg and medicinal herbs, with complicating hints of pine and pimento. Sweet, lush and concentrated, but with an impression of medicinal reserve to the flavors of dark berries and game. A suggestion of sea salt complicates this vibrant grand cru. Finishes very long, with noble tannins and fresh pepper and spice notes.
