The 1994 Climens has a simple bouquet with quince, honey and a light chlorine scent. The palate is medium-bodied, balanced but simple, showing dryness on the finish. Drink soon. Tasted from a bottle from my own cellar, I feel that this is running out of steam.

TA 4.3 g/l (sulphuric), RS 81 g/l. Mid gold. Creamy honey and lemon and just a hint of barley sugar. Pretty and so youthful. Crisp and lightly textured in the mid palate, definitely a lighter year but with lots of flavour and pretty good length. (JH)
