The 2019 Crozes-Hermitage Les Trois Chênes sports a deep purple hue as well as a great bouquet of ripe darker berry fruits, violets, and peppery herbs. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has terrific purity of fruit, a solid spine of acidity, and the balance to evolve gracefully for 10-12 years. It's another impressive, rock-solid wine from this talented winemaker.

The 2019 Crozes Hermitage Les Trois Chênes features attractive aromas of cassis and blueberries on the nose, a broad, expansive feel in the mouth and a long, softly dusty finish. Full-bodied, concentrated and intense, it avoids any sense of heaviness despite its size, while at the same time interweaving complex notes of dark chocolate, coffee and dried herbs. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes.
