2018 Santenay 1er Cru Clos des Mouches

The 2018 Santenay Clos des Mouches 1er Cru has quite a bold bouquet where perhaps I would have liked to have seen more than the 5–10% whole bunch. It does not quite have the definition of other cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, juicy and quite bold, displaying plenty of red cherries and raspberry preserve on the finish. Fine.
