Tasting notes
Score 91+/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2010

Medium red. Black cherry and licorice aromas lifted by a floral perfume. Dense, sweet and fine-grained, displaying more fruit today than the Bel-Air. But this is also tightly wound, displaying excellent energy and a light touch for the year. Nicely horizontal on the back end, finishing with stony, floral lift. Pacalet notes that his 2007 fruit had polyphenol levels almost as high as the 2005s, and even riper stems.
