The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a crisp and focused nose, a touch of brine develops with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy, tarry black fruit, good grip with a fresh, slightly oaky finish. Give it two or three years in bottle.

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a tightly wound, earthy nose of light tobacco notes percolating through red fruit. It feels a little introverted at the moment. The medium-bodied palate is saline on the entry and quite spicy, with a lively black pepper tinge finish that is full of brio. Very fine.
