Full red-ruby. Complex, cool aromas of musky raspberry, ripe strawberry, minerals, pepper and flowers. Intensely flavored and penetrating, with a primary, sappy character and powerful minerality to the crushed fruit flavors. The back end shows superb slow-building length and great verve. This is almost sweeter after you swallow than when it's in your mouth.

Full, deep ruby-red. Knockout nose combines blackberry, currant, minerals and flowers. Large-scaled, silky and fat with fruits and spices; a wine of outstanding, expanding volume. As concentrated and dense as this is, firm acidity gives it great clarity and life in the mouth. Finishes with superb palate-staining persistence and aristocratic tannins.
