Medium-deep ruby; rich, powerful nose of red berries and red fruits. Concentration but body is medium-plus and lies upon some serious Côte de Nuits structure. A pleasure. Balance and moderation in all things. Delicious. (MH)

The 2020 Chambertin Grand Cru, which contains 80% whole bunch and had not been racked, has a beautifully-defined bouquet with red and black fruit, undergrowth, hints of tobacco and pressed rose petals. Very focucsed. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, very harmonious with a pastille-like purity on the finish. Very classy and composed.
