Score 89-91/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Jan 2018

(almost 40 hectoliters per hectare produced from this vineyard featuring light, well-drained argilo-calcaire soil with small stones; 75% vendange entier ): Medium red. Inviting, soft aromas of raspberry, brown spices and dried rose. Spicy, rather easygoing wine with modest flesh and concentration but good delineation. A nicely balanced wine with good energy and ripe, fine-grained tannins. This should give relatively early pleasure but it has spine too.
